FlashSnap 2.1

 

FlashSnap is a replacement for the standard AutoCAD "Object Snap" dialog. FlashSnap lets you control and manage easily and fast your snap modes without the need of using the dialog box.

Each button of the FlashSnap bar lets you activate/deactivate the associated snap mode. Moreover, you can save and restore differents snap mode states.

Different buttons associated with the following snap mode: Endpoint, Midpoint, Intersection, Apparent intersection , Extension, Center, Quadrant, Tangent, Perpendicular, Parallel, Insertion, Node and Nearest. Here, Endpoint, Midpoint, Intersection and Perpendicular snaps are activated. (buttibs appear on a green backgroung).

 

"Temporary Tracking Point" and "Snap From" buttons.

 

Snap to none. This button appears "down" when Osnap mode is deactivated (F3 Key).

 

These buttons let you save and restore 3 different snap modes. So, you can save your favorite modes then restore them when needed. Click and hold the mouse button to show pop-down menus.

 

FlashSnap toolbar customization.

You can customize FlashSnap toolbar by adding or removing icons to it.

Enter FSNCONFIG on the command line, the following dialog box appears :

Icons on the top line are the available icons, those on the bottom line are the icons that are already on the FlashSnap toolbar. Click an icon to change it from "Available" to "FlashSnap Toolbar" and vice-versa. Once done, click "Apply" to save your seetings. You must restart AutoCAD in order to apply the modifications.

Remark : you must NOT use AutoCAD standard tools to customize FlashSnap toolbar.
