Point Groups management / Point creation

This dialog box allows you to manage different groups of points and perform various operations on them. At the top of the dialog, the group list displays the available groups in the drawing (Group name, Description of the group, Number of points in the group, Last point number used in the group, Current group).

Create a new group and its description. |
 |
Deletes group in the list. The group is removed from the list, but the points it contains are not erased from the drawing. |

Rename a group or change its description. |
 |
Set the group current. This allows to specify which group will be used when using the Points number Input Box. |

Load points from a coordinate file : This command allows you to create points in the group from a coordinate file in text format or Leica (*.gsi) format. See "Import points from file" |

Draw points : This command allows you to create points by "clicks" in the drawing area. See "Drawing points" |

Create points on existing entities : This command allows you to create points on the drawing entities. Points will be created at the characteristic points of the selected objects : vertices of lines, center of arcs, etc. See "Point creation on existing entities" |

Add points by selection : This command allows you to add points to the group by selecting existing points in the drawing. |

Add points by criteria : This command allows you to add points to the group by selecting existing points in the drawing according to criteria : point number, coordinate or description. |

Remove points by selection : This command allows you to remove points from the group by selecting existing points in the drawing. |
 |
Remove points by criteria : This command allows you to remove points from the group by selecting existing points in the drawing according to criteria : point number, coordinate or description. |

Erase objects of the group : This command lets you erase objects that are in the selected groups (Point entity, number, elevation and description).
Remark : objects are erased from the drawing, but the group is not removed from the list.

Show point list : This command allows you to see the list of points in the group. |

| When creating points, you must specify whether the points will be added to existing points in the group or if they will replace them. |
