This command allows you to create points by "clicks" in the drawing area.

Point numbers

Indicate at which number the numbering must start, as well as the incrementation value. Click to display the last number of the group + 1 in the "Start at :" edit box.

Insertion options

• Ask for point Number at insertion : check this option to specify the point number at point creation.
• Ask for point Description at insertion : check this option to specify the point Description at point creation.
• Elevation value
  • Automatic : check this option to use the elevation of the clicked point
  • Ask : check this option to enter manually the elevation.
  • Fixed : check this option to give the point a fixed elevation.

Parameters

• Model : choose the point creation model in the list or click to display the point creation model configuration window.
• Scale : choose the scale to apply to the point creation model.
• Prefix : enter the prefix to be added to the name of the layers used to create the points and attributes. You can leave this value blank (in this case layers have no prefix) or enter the special value {GROUP} which indicates that the layer names will be prefixed by the name of the group in which the points will be created. Click to restore the default value, which is: {GROUP}_
