When a FlashPoint command invites you to select objects belonging to a group (points, elevations, etc..), you have 2 methods: the selection of objects on the screen, or the selection of objects by group name.

For example, if you launch the "Modify elevation" command, FlashPoints displays at the command prompt :

>>select by [Groups/objects Selection] <S> :

If you choose the "objects Selection" method, FlashPoints will display at the command prompt :

>> Select the ELEVATIONS

then will let you select the "Elevation" attributes.

If you choose the "Groups" method, FlashPoints will show the list of the groups and you'll have to select the group(s) for which the elevations will be modified.
