Objects Projection on a DTM.

This tool allows you to project entities (Polyline, Line, Arc, Circle, Point, Block) on a DTM. The objects are projected on the DTM, creating 3D Polylines in the layer of your choice. Do not confuse this tool with the Creation of 3D Polylines from Objects.

Processing Mode

• Process by Selection Set: check this option to select the objects then launch the process.
• Individual Processing : check this option to click and process objects simultaneously.

Options

• Maximal arrow for the curves : The arcs and polylines containing arcs will be represented in 3D by a succession of straight segments approximating the curve. Enter a value representing the maximal maximal chord/arc (distance from the center of the straight segment to the arc) that is authorized.
• Project Vertices Only: Check this option to project only the vertices (not the segments) of objects.
  

Layer for the Creation of 3D Objects

• Layer : Enter the name of the layer for the creation of 3D Polylines or click on to select from a list.

Adjust the parameters of the dialog box, then click on "OK". FlashMNT displays on the command line :

Select the 3D Faces objects on which to project the entities, then validate. FlashMNT then displays: :

Select the desired objects, then validate. The 3D Polylines are created in the layer of your choice.
