FDECAL3D

Offsetting 3D Polylines.

This tool allows you to offset 3D Polylines on a horizontal and/or vertical plane.

On the command prompt, FlashMNT displays:

>>Horizontal offset[1.000]/ Z Offset [1.200]/<Click the 3D Polyline> :

Enter H then <ENTER> to change the value of the horizontal offset, or Z then <ENTER> to change the value of the vertical offset, or click the 3D polyline to offset. Then indicate the side to be offseted.

Remarks : If after the horizontal offset, the created polyline contains less vertices than the initial one, the cohesion vertex/altitude is no more guaranteed, some vertices being assigned an altitude corresponding to a different vertex. The program still creates the 3D Polyline but warns you about the problem.
E.g.: On the following figure, the initial polyline contains 5 vertices, but after the horizontal offset, it only contains 3. The vertex 1 of the latter corresponds to vertex 2 of the original, the vertex 2 to vertex 3...etc.
