If you work from 3D polylines (contour lines for example), you must ensure of their quality. Indeed, malformed polylines will lead to the triangulation failure.

An incorrect polyline has duplicate vertices or back and forth vertices. Use this tool to correct these errors. Polylines will be decurved then optimized. Then, use the Drawing checkout tool to detect other problems like intersection, duplicate segments, etc.
